What is a mini prism?
Mini Prism is manufactured from highquality optical glass which is worked to strict specifications. All reflective surfaces are provided with a resistant coating so that the reflectivity is not adversely affected by dirt or condensation.
What is the best way to use a prism?
A precise tip will allow you to use a variety of prism heights — from mini to full-size. Just put the prism you want to use on the pole, and make sure it’s even for proper reading. For a more precise adjustment, it’s best to do it horizontally on the floor.
How are survey prisms different from mini prisms?
These survey prisms are compact and can be easily transported. Flat prisms are comparable to mini prisms in that they provide a similar distance range except with a dual-sided reflector. Finally, right angle prisms reflect angles of 90 or 180 degrees and make it possible to stake out right angles.
